The Greenline BRT- Government of Sindh

The Greenline BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) project is one of the flagship infrastructure initiatives by the Sindh government, aimed at transforming the public transportation landscape in Karachi. The project is designed to offer a modern, fast, and efficient bus service to ease the city's traffic congestion and provide a sustainable alternative to traditional forms of public transit.
The Greenline BRT spans approximately 22 kilometers, stretching from Surjani Town in the north to the central areas of Karachi, including the bustling Downtown and the district of Saddar. This corridor includes dedicated bus lanes that are separated from other traffic, allowing for a smooth, uninterrupted journey for commuters. The Greenline BRT is equipped with high-capacity buses that are designed to reduce travel times, making it a more time-efficient choice for daily commuters.
The project also features state-of-the-art infrastructure such as modern bus stations equipped with climate-controlled waiting areas, security, and real-time information systems. These stations are strategically located to serve key areas, ensuring easy access for passengers.
