S4 Smart Surveillance System at 40 toll plazas.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday inaugurated the Sindh Smart Surveillance System (S4) project, a pioneering initiative to bolster security across the province through advanced technological integration. This comprehensive system is specifically designed to monitor and secure all major entry and exit points connecting Sindh's key cities.

The S4 project incorporates cutting-edge features such as facial recognition and automated number plate recognition systems installed at 40 toll plazas, 18 of which are situated in Karachi. These advanced tools enable precise and real-time identification of individuals and vehicles, enhancing the capability to detect and deter unlawful activities.

The project aims to seamlessly integrate with the existing command and control center at the Central Police Office (CPO), ensuring swift and coordinated security responses. The integration is expected to streamline surveillance operations, improve data analysis, and enhance the efficiency of law enforcement agencies in managing potential threats.
