COUNCILLORS TRAINING SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
October 20: The Provincial Technical Expert of Women political
school Sindh, a joint project of UNDP and Women Development Department
Government of Sindh which imparts training to women Councillors has
announced the schedule of further training for women Councillors in
various districts of Sindh.
According to details, the training for women Councillors of Khairpur
begin from November 01; Sukkur from November 08, Ghotki from 08,
Mirpurkhas from 15, Dadu from 22, Jacobabad from 29, Kashmore from 29,
Thatta from December 06, Badin from 13, Shahdadkot from 20, Larkana
20 and Shikarpur from December 28.
The three days training course is being conducted in collaboration with
Sindh Civil and Local Government Academy Tando Jam and so far a number
1970 Women Councilors of 11 districts of Province have taken training
from June to September 2006.
The series of training Programme under taken by Women political School
will end on December 31, 2006, as stated by Provincial Technical Expert.
MUSAVI POSTED AS ADDITIONAL SECRETARY FINANCE
October 20: The Government of Sindh under a notification issued
by Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, has
posted Syed Ashfaque Hussain Musavi, an officer of PSS (BS-19) as
Additional Secretary, Finance Department, against an existing vacancy,
was awaiting posting.
HOLIDAY;S FOR WORKERS OF SINDH PROVINCE
October 18: Sindh Secretary for Labour, Transport, Industries
Commerce Department has notified that the Government of Sindh has declared
Eid-ul-Fitr holidays for all the workers in the Province of Sindh on
24th and 25th October, 2006.

POSTINGS OF PROVINCIAL SECRETARIES
October 18: The Government of Sindh has issued transfer and
posting orders of Provincial Secretaries.
According to details, Dr. Baz Muhammad Junejo, an officer of Livestock
Fisheries Department (BS-20), Additional Secretary (Tech), Agriculture
Department has been allowed to lookafter the post of Secretary, Auqaf,
Religious/Minorities Affairs, Zakat & Ushr Department vice Mr. Sikandar
Mr. Sikandar Ali Kaerio, an officer of Commerce &
Trade Group (BS-20),
Secretary Auqaf, Religious/Minorities Affairs, Zakat & Ushr Department
has been transferred and posted with immediate effect as Secretary,
Department vice Mr. Ghulam Abid Shaikh who has been transferred &
directed to report to Services, General Administration and Coordination
Department for further orders.
