EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
The Education Department is responsible for the
management of:
* Primary to Higher Education through Schools and
Colleges.
* Teachers Education
* Technical Education
* Vocational Education
* Commercial Education
* Affiliation and Registration of Private Schools and Colleges by the concerned Boards /
Directorates.
1.
Administration Wing deals with the administrative matters of its respective wings,
pertaining to:-
(I) Primary and Secondary Schools
(ii) Bureau of Curriculum and Extension Wing, Sindh
2.
Establishment Wing deals with-
(i) College Education
(ii) Directorate of Technical Education
(iii) Engineering Works
(iv) Non-Development Budget.
3.
Planning and Coordination (P&C) Wing is responsible to:-
Coordinate the Foreign Aided Projects and Schemes of
Primary
Education Sub-Sector.
The Additional Secretary (P&C) is also the Project Director of
(I) Sindh Primary Education Development Programme.
(ii) Girls Primary Education Project.
(iii) Middle School Project.
4.
Academic Wing deals with
(I) Policy matters.
(ii) Higher Education
(iii) Sindh Education Foundation (SEF)
(iv) Sindh Teachers Foundation (STF)
