This Department distributes Zakat
funds, as per Islamic injunctions, to deserving individuals and welfare institutions such
as religious and educational institutions.
It is also responsible for the following:
- It disburses Zakat through district Zakat Committees,
which distribute funds to the local Zakat Committees.
- The main channels through which funds are distributed are
as under:
Guzara allowance to individuals
(Mustahiqeen).
Educational Institutions.
Religious Madressas.
Health Institutions.
Social Welfare Institutions.
Othe /Misc./Jahez /Permanent rehabilitation.
