Architect Office, headed by Consulting Architect, an attached office of the Building Department, has to provide architectural services to various departments of the Sindh Government. It is mainly concerned with planning, designing and supervision of architectural aspects of all the Government sponsored projects / schemes. Conceptual and detailed architectural designs of various schemes are prepared by it. It also caters to the needs of all nation building departments and government agencies pertaining to the expert advice on matters in architectural planning and related fields. Various architectural designs, which are of repetitive nature, have been standardized for quick and easy construction programmes to meet with government targets. Where standard designs do not fit well, site-specific designs are prepared in the light of the approved scope of work of the client department and the site conditions.
