The work
charged employees, temporary employees and the employees
working on part-time basis.
Employees of the Private or Semi private organizations.
Keeping
in view the necessity of the employees, government has
decided to build houses initially in the following district
headquarters and allotment will be made as per choice given
by the member in his application:
1.
Karachi, 2. Thatta, 3. Hyderabad, 4. Mirpurkhas, 5. Sukkur,
6. Larkano 7. Shaheed Benazirabad(Nawabshah).

The SCSHF envisages housing scheme for
civil servants of the Sindh
Government. Under this scheme a Civil Servant from pay scales 1 to 22
will be provided a constructed house on his retirement. In this context
land will be provided by the Government of Sindh to the Foundation
free of cost and construction cost as per entitlement will be contributed by
the Civil Servant from his monthly salary.
The Government of Sindh has passed an
Act from Sindh Assembly known as Sindh Civil Servants Housing Foundation
Act-2005 which was promulgated on 22nd December 2006 with following
provisions:

Establishment of Sindh Civil
Servants Housing Foundation.

Sindh Government shall provide fund
for establishment of the of SCSHF.

SCSHF will
be governed by a Board of Directors, headed by the Chief
Secretary Sindh
The Government will
oversee and monitor the
SCSHF in following manner:

High level administrative control;
-
Provide land free of cost;
-
Financial assistance in shape of
grants from time to time;
-
Back up support to obtain loans from
financial institutions;
-
Development of infrastructure like
Roads, Water and Sewerage systems etc.
SCSHF will follow all
financial / administrative / developmental rules & regulations and
Building byelaws/ discipline as per the prevailing laws of Sindh and
decisions of its Board. |
