LONG TERMS PLANS OF THE LAW, PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS & HUMAN 

RIGHTS DEPARTMENT GOVERNMENT OF SINDH

The Access to Justice Program Loan was negotiated by the Government 

of Pakistan with Asian Development Bank. An amount of US$ 350 million has 

been sanctioned by the Asian Development Bank as loan under Access to 

Justice Program. The share of this province comes to about Rs.2400 million,

Hon’ble High Court of Sindh and Law Department have prepared and forwarded

below mentioned schemes. The objectives of the schemes is to improve the

working condition of Judiciary/overall Judicial system and Law Department:-

HIGH COURT OF SINDH 

Construction of new Court Building in Sindh under AJP(15 Schemes) 

(for 224 Courts Building all over Sindh). Rs.1375.633(M)
Construction of Residences for Judges and Ministerial Staff Category-I and

Category-II under AJP (7 Schemes) For 296 Residences all over Sindh.

Rs.614.414(M) Providing 386 Computers for the subordinate Courts for the

Sindh High Court.Rs.28.950 (M)
Total High Court Rs.2019.098(M)

BRIEF ON ACCESS TO JUSTICE PROGRAM

The Government of Pakistan(GOP) has launched Access to Justice Program

with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to implement

legislative, judicial, police and administrative reforms in the country to 

strength the system of administration of justice. An amount of US$ 

350 million has been sanctioned as loan, under Access to Justice Program.
