DIRECTORATE OF INDUSTRIES
INTRODUCTION
The Directorate of Industries
had remained focal Government Organization
for the development of industrialization in
Sindh Province.
Government has adopted a very
liberal policy for industrialization in
Sindh and NOC of the Government is not
required except for the following
industries:-
Arms and
Ammunition.
Security Printing and Mint.
High Explosives.
Radio Active substances.
Establishment of Alcohol manufacturing unit
is banned except Industrial Alcohol.
SUGAR MILLS: - NOC of Sindh Government is
required for establishment of new Sugar
Mills and expansion of existing Sugar
Industries in Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana,
Karachi, which are declared as negative
areas.
Beside
industrial development the Directorate is
also performing the functions being assigned
by the Federal Government and Governor of
Sindh through following Wings:-
