The objective for establishing “INTRANET” is to improve the data collection, storage, verification, its dissemination/ communication and file transfer between headquarters and field offices (or amongst the designated offices) without use of Internet and providing the latest information to the users.

1. Total network management capability.
2. Gathering and dissemination of data/ information on a provincial / federal, enterprise-wide scale.
3. Compliance with international standards and industry protocols
4. Products based on open architecture to provide high level of flexibility and expandability at low cost

Various action plans are in progress to enhance the Deployed Intranet setup in best interest of following:

1. To ensure the Workability of deployed Project
2. Enhancing the reach ability of Intranet to Sindh Secretariat locations/ Departments for connecting on centralize network Intranet.|
3. Web based File Sharing, Downloading / Uploading, Updates, Security patches and other facilities will be deployed soon.
