Objectives
|
|
The basic objective of the project is to facilitate and improve productivity and performance of District Government’s offices in Sindh by providing & implementing Management Information Systems (MIS) and also to establish IT infrastructure i.e. Hardware and Network Setup in District Government Offices to implement their MIS solutions.

Achievements
|
|
250 Computers and accessories have been provided for enhancing office productivity to 5 Districts namely Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Larkana & Ghotki. Customization of MIS (Management Information System) e-Governance has been started and will be deployed in Current Financial Year.

Detail Scope of Phase I
|
|
(The working scope of this Project in phase-1 is limited for 5 Districts of Sindh namely Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah ,Larkana & Ghotki)

To facilitate the citizens in possession of the requisite public information.

To create a transparent government operating system while making the public information easily available for the end users.

To develop the Web site for each designated district.

To establish district government database for five designated districts in the province.

To develop/customize the of Software application for each designated department’s MIS for smooth functioning of routine work.

To device e-Government system to bring the advancement in the routine work and establish coordination among district and provincial departments.

To provide reliable, authenticated, fast & timely, information to decision makers, administrators and citizens.

To conduct on-job group Training, Seminars / Workshops of customized applications and creating awareness of the IT and Computer applications.

To create employment opportunities for job-less graduates in the different field of computer science and information Technology.

To reduce paper work and dependency on conventional filing operating system hence reducing financial burden on the provincial exchequer.
