Call Center Training for Jobless Graduates / Under-Graduates

Cost of Training & Duration

1. Cost of training of each candidate is Rs. 35,000/- according to PC-I.

2. In addition to above the candidate will be deposited Rs. 5000/- for course material fee.

3. Duration of Call Center Training is six months according to PC-I.

Physical Progress

1. 1st , 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th batch of 781 graduates / under-graduates have successfully completed their Call Centre agent training under the supervision of qualified trainers.

2. Due to this Call Centre Training, most of the candidates are working in different in-bound and out-bound call centers and earning handsome salary package.

3. The codal formalities for launching of the 7th batch is being processed.

Objectives

1. The main objective of the project is to create the skilled manpower for the rapidly growing field of Call Centre.

2. To facilitate the job less or low paid graduates / undergraduates to learn stat of the art Call Centre application, operation, usage and management.

3. To bring foreign exchange by the establishment of off shore Call Centre companies in Pakistan.

4. Provide employment opportunities to graduates equipped with basic education and having good communication skill.

5. Will enhance and encourage the concept of e-business and e-commerce in the private / public sector organization.

6. The project shall provide the state of the art Call Centre training at least 1000 jobless graduates / under graduates using the private sector’s infrastructure / facilities.

7. The training will be conducted in private institutes. IT department will register and provide the nomination for these courses to these institutes / universities. The Call Centre Training course will mainly cover the following :

  • Computer usage basic training.

  • Telephone etiquettes.

  • Basic marketing skills.

  • Communication skills (Improvement in fluency in English language)

  • Familiarization with Call Centre equipments.

  • Operation and Management of Call Centre.

Physical Progress

ACHIEVEMENT

781 Jobless-Graduates / Under-Graduates have been successfully completed the Call Center Training and most of them are working in various call centers and multinational companies and earning handsome salaries only because of this training.

TARGET IN C.F.Y. 2009-10

  • 227 candidates batch has been successfully completed in the month of September, 2009. This batch was started in 1st April, 2009.

  • 7th batch of Call Center Candidates’ codal formalities is in process.

  • The project will be completed in current financial year.
