Q: Functions
and aims/objectives of e-Police along with amount reserved
for e-Police as well as grade-wise number of vacancies
created in e-Policing and criteria for selection?
The functions and aims/objectives of
e-Police system in Sindh are as under:
(i)
Amount reserved for the project is Rs. 941,440
million.
(ii)
Number of Vacancies
157 persons have been appointed on various posts on contract
basis, according to requirement of the project on fix salary.

The scheme of “Biometric Identification Electronic
System (BIES)” appeared @ S.No. 1581 VOL-V, PSDP 2009-10
with essential details as to cost estimate and budgetary
allocation.
