FLOUR MILLS, FACILITIES TO MILLS OWNERS    

a) This year 2006-07,the department has procured 709,531.020 tunes wheat.
   The district wise details and availability of wheat is at Annexure-I.

b) Under the Federal Govt.’s decision, the Food department has announced 
   the policy for releases of government subsidized wheat to the Flour mills
   and Khakis,on following terms & conditions:

i) the releases on ‘first in first out’(FIFO)basis;

ii) The issue price of wheat is fixed at Rs.430/- per 40 kegs i.e. Rs. 1126/-
    per bag of 100 kegs.

iii)The wheat releases are liberalized (quota free)issuance until further orders.
