Primary (or elementary) education consists of the about first five to six years of formal, structured education. In general, primary education consists of six or seven years (from class-I to class-V) of schooling starting at the age of 5.

Providing primary education is the responsibility of State, and Sindh Government is striving hard to fulfill its obligations.

Before primary education,  Kachi (Early childhood )is also offered.

Government of Sindh is providing  free text books, Scholarships to Girls students, SMC's for better school management, funds School Rehabilitation etc.
