- To enhance cotton production
from 2.4 million bales to 4.00 million
bales by
the year 2015 in Sindh
- 100 percent production of
contamination free quality cotton to
enhance
export and meet the challenges of WTO
- Promotion of oil seed
production to minimize dependency investment
on
import. Sunflower will be promoted as an
alternate crop of
sugarcane
- Improvement of remaining
34,550 watercourses in Sindh province
- Installation of 1000 tube
wells in fresh water ground zones on
subsidized
rate to encourage private sector
- Propagate the use of combine
harvester in Rice Crop with public
private
partnership (100 combine harvester)
- Promotion of laser land
leveling techniques and procurement of 5000
laser land levelers
- Introduction of mechanical
cotton picking system through use of
picking
machines
